When I opened the package with this beautiful gift from Mary...

My heart broke into a million pieces...and then put back together...

Over and over again as I looked at it.

Not only did it remind me so much of exactly what Samson would say, but...

In those moments I tried my best to understand life.

To remember...

No, things didn't go the way we planned. But damn, we sure had a great time.

Isn't that what life is all about? Every day to be cherished.

Instead of worrying about what could happen or focusing on the negative...

Enjoying and being present in the moment, right here with what we have.

Living a life without regrets and one full of meaning. Holding on to the important things.

Could we live our lives and look at things in such a way that at the end of the day...

Even if things didn't go our way or as we had hoped...

We can truly say...

Sometimes a friend comes along and is so special that they show you things even when they are no longer here. I can't believe it has been a year. Miss you always Samson.
